As the Manager of Sales Development, you will play a critical role in the growth of our organization by providing strategic direction and through leadership on building qualified sales opportunities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership in broadening top of funnel and utilize creative means to build our sales pipeline

  • Lead a team of 2 fully remote SDRs to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities

  • Drive the use of a variety of channels for pipeline generation

  • Partner with Sales Ops to establish and enable scalable sales processes and best practices

  • Drive results against targets and ensure SDRs improve performance and abilities by monitoring performance and providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s

  • Work closely with Sales and Sales Ops to identify areas of improvement for the SDRs

  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market leaders to improve opportunity management and qualification processes and to provide market insights

  • Work in collaboration with Content Marketing and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest into qualified pipeline and provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns

  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly attainment

  • Be thoughtful about function expansion and hire and onboard new team members when growth is required

Job qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring

  • Can collaborate and influence with a “win as a team” mindset

  • Track record of success in a similar environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)

  • Experience with Sales Engagement software (Outreach preferred)

  • Understanding of private markets preferred
